Model United Nations, also known as MUN, is an educational simulation and academic competition in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. Participants take on the roles of delegates from different countries and engage in debates and negotiations on various global issues. Model UN provides a platform for students to develop their public speaking, critical thinking, and leadership skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the world around them.

From a fleeting idea among Model UN members to a club filled with joy, growth, and success, we are proud to introduce the first Wilder Model UN conference. Thanks to the determined efforts of our student leaders and teachers, alongside the endless support from more experienced Model UN members, we are able to form our conference while making powerful memories. Hosted at L. Douglas Wilder Middle School, we request students from 5th grade to 8th grade to join us to learn more about diplomacy, independent and collaborative thinking, and enhance their minds.
